Restaurant Host

Location: JW Marriott Reston Station, Reston, VA

Salary: Hourly $20.85 plus benefits (generous compensation package, 401K matching, employee & family discounts).

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating, escort them to their table, and present the menu.
• Maintain the log book and coordinate communication between shifts and management.
• Set up the dining room properly before each service.
• Handle reservations and make necessary arrangements for special functions.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Assist coworkers and perform any other duties as assigned.

• Ability to communicate in English and interact positively with guests.

• Self‑starting personality with an even disposition and professional appearance.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs continuously and navigate a crowded room.

• Team player willing to pitch in and help co‑workers with their job duties.

• Deliver customer satisfaction and remain professional at all times.
• Maintain high work habits: dress, grooming, punctuality, and adaptability to change.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols, including key controls, lifting heavy objects, and reporting hazards.
