Human Resources Administrator (Full‑Time)

CEXEC is looking for a Human Resources Administrator to help champion the People, the Processes and the Culture that continues to make CEXEC the premier small business that our Federal Clients turn to for solutions! We are a family‑owned small business located in Reston, VA across from the Wiehle Metro Station and CEXEC is proud to be celebrating its 50th year in business!

The successful candidate will have experience in the administration of HR processes necessary to ensure a successful and happy employee‑focused environment. From benefits management to new hire orientations and federal compliance, the individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the various HR functions that support the people, the process and the culture of CEXEC. The Human Resources Administrator will integrate with all levels of company leadership and is the primary point of contact for employees needing assistance.

Education and Experience

Successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a complementary field, 4 years of HR‑related experience in a similar federal contracting services environment, and plenty of experience with attention to detail.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and business‑appropriate communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional training/education/certifications or other coursework in HR or a relevant business field
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and administer multiple recurring processes
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, MS Word and Excel or related software
  • Previous HRIS experience (DELTEK/Costpoint, ADP, PAYCHEX, Kelly or other HRIS system or database platform)
  • Experience working in a collaborative cloud‑based group environment (Google Drive, Sharepoint, MS360, etc.)
  • Demonstrated responsiveness to employee requests
  • Ability to travel to Washington, DC, and other nationwide locations as needed
Location, Travel, and Supervisory

The HR Administrator will report primarily to the CEXEC Headquarters in Reston, VA, with periodic travel to the Washington, DC office and other company locations across the country as needed (travel to other than the Reston HQ is infrequent). This position reports to the Chief of Business Administration, who possesses over 30 years of HR management and business operations experience. CEXEC offers a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work remotely as well as in the Reston, VA HQ office.

CEXEC offers immediate eligibility for a 401(k) plan as well as comprehensive health insurance, life insurance, and a multitude of wellness choices. Salary is determined by location, the individual's education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected total compensation range (monetary and non‑monetary) nationally for this position is $37,390.08 to $181,209 (annualized USD).
