Summit Developer

We are seeking a skilled Summit Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications for financial platforms, including FINASTRA Summit.

The role requires strong technical expertise in C/C++, Java, and scripting languages, along with a deep understanding of SDLC, OOPS principles, and trade lifecycle processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions for complex financial applications.

• Application Development:
  Design, develop, test, and debug applications using C/C++, Java, and Python.
• Financial Systems:
  Implement solutions for trade processing, accounting, payments, settlements, risk management, and reporting.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with Business Analysts, stakeholders, testers, and release managers to ensure successful delivery.
• SDLC & Agile:
  Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and follow Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Production Support:
  Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing ongoing support for business-as-usual (BAU) activities.

  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in C/C++, Java (8/17), SQL (Oracle), Perl/Shell scripting, Unix/Windows environments, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD tools.
• Platform Expertise:
  Hands-on experience with FINASTRA Summit (Version 6 or higher).
• Domain Knowledge:
  Understanding of banking and financial systems, including trade lifecycle and risk management.
• Soft Skills:
  
  Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
• Methodologies:
  Experience with Agile, Scrum, and containerization technologies (Docker); familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).

• Exposure to Selenium/Winium for automation testing.
• Knowledge of Autosys for job scheduling.
• Experience in capital markets or trading desk environments.
