Data Center Site Selection Manager – Leasing

Join Meta’s Data Center Site Selection team as a Site Selection Manager – Leasing. You’ll leverage extensive experience negotiating large, complex leasing deals and deep knowledge of the legal agreements that accompany them.

• Lead data center acquisition and lease contracting negotiations
• Perform technical due diligence and validate site viability across energy, land, and other factors
• Manage supplier relationships and best practices
• Perform market analysis and develop leasing site selection strategy
• Stay informed of the technical, market, and regulatory developments in the data center industry
• Contribute to organizational strategy and development of leasing standards at Meta
• Travel domestically (10‑25% of the time)

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, engineering, environmental, or energy-related discipline
• 8+ years experience facilitating, evaluating, or managing data center capacity projects
• Experience leading large-scale data center lease negotiations
• Experience working with detailed financial models of data center projects and transactions, identifying key risks and sensitivities, and leading all related due diligence efforts (financial, commercial, technical, development)
• Experience collaborating across multiple internal functions, including legal, compliance, finance, and accounting
• Experience representing business interests to leadership teams of potential suppliers, strategic markets, energy suppliers and other stakeholders
• Proven precise communication skills
• Experience synthesizing commercial, regulatory, market, and contractual details to all organizational levels
• Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with internal staff, lease providers, and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in standard document and analytics platforms
• Proven track record building and running leasing programs
• Familiarity with various lease structures (Modified Gross, NNN, YoC, etc.)
