Acute is seeking a highly capable Quality Assurance Analyst to support a fast‑paced DHS mission environment. This role partners with product, engineering and operations to strengthen test coverage, advance reporting and automation, and guide quality improvements across cloud and data‑center environments.

• Plan and execute testing across system, integration, functional, performance, and Section 508 accessibility scopes.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, and reusable test data; trace tests to requirements and defects.
• Perform manual and automated tests; script, schedule and monitor automated suites in CI pipelines.
• Conduct performance testing and analyse results; identify bottlenecks and recommend fixes.
• Validate 508 compliance using approved tools; document findings and remediation steps.

• Log, triage and track defects to closure; provide clear quality metrics and release readiness recommendations.

  Experience:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field and 3+ years of hands‑on software QA/testing experience.
• Methods & Deliverables:
  Proven experience with software test design/methodologies and authoring strategies, plans, cases and scripts.
• Automation & Tools:
  Practical experience with automated testing; familiarity with Test Complete (functional) and Load Runner (performance); CI integration experience (e.g., scheduling/running suites and publishing results).
• Data & Queries:
  Ability to write and execute database queries against Mongo

• Accessibility:
  Working knowledge of Section 508 requirements and compliance testing practices/tools.
• Strong analytical, documentation and defect‑management skills; effective collaboration with developers, analysts and operations.

• Exposure to AWS Gov Cloud, JBoss EAP 7, RHEL/Windows, Cloud Bees CI/Maven, Ansible/Terraform and enterprise logging (e.g., Splunk) in regulated environments.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
