Geospatial Analyst – Mid role at Vantor

Note on Cleared Roles:
This position requires an active U.S. Government Security clearance at the TS/SCI level with an in‑scope CI poly

Responsibilities
  • Exploit imagery, vector, and other data types to include non‑geospatially correlated data to locate, identify, and map objects in the spatial domain.
  • Provide analysis on terrain mapping, route planning, and maritime geospatial activity.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for geospatial expertise, ensuring tradecraft compliance analytic standards as it relates to geospatial analysis.
  • Provide advice on emerging geospatial methods, tools, algorithms, training, or requirements.
  • Employ new and improved methods or data sets to address information gaps and identify areas of information to help resolve complex analytical problems and to ensure solutions to analytical problems are rigorous and logical.
  • Effectively manage data volume, variety, and trustworthiness to reach analytic conclusions.
  • Develop and discover algorithms and solutions to analyze, process, or visualize data.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active TS/SCI with CI poly clearance.
  • 8 years of experience and a related bachelor’s degree.
  • Significant experience with ArcGIS and/or QGIS software.
  • Experience in cartography and creating map products for DoD or IC customers.
  • Experience collaborating across the DoD, IC, CCMDs, foreign partners, academia, and industry.
  • Experience integrating geospatial data, techniques, and tools into analytic workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
  • The GEOINT Professional Certification – Geospatial Analysis (GA‑II).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Python, including Jupyter Notebooks or ArcGIS notebooks.
  • Familiarity with technical intelligence data or similar high‑volume datasets.
Pay Transparency

In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job‑related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

Salary Range (Washington, DC metropolitan area): $99,000.00 – $ annually.
