K  is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Engineer Specialist with AFSIM experience to join a team of quantitative analysts and modelers performing MS&A for DARPA concepts using advanced MS&A techniques and tools.

• Think creatively and offer grounded, out-of-the-box solutions when appropriate.
• Work well in a dynamic environment and support decisions under uncertainty.
• Support M&S and software development efforts.
• Collaborate with military subject matter experts and DARPA program managers to characterize architectures and concepts under study in the simulation environment.
• Instantiate combat system, platform, and behavior models in the simulation environment.
• Instantiate kill chains, C2 relationships, and other scenario-specific factors in the simulation environment.
• Support the development and instantiation of an experiment design in the simulation environment.
• Independently conduct assigned tasks in support of broader analytic or modeling efforts.
• Contribute to creation of quality deliverables and reports and the quality control thereof.

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Operations Research, or other STEM field, plus 3 years of relevant experience, or
• Master of Science in Computer Science, Operations Research, or other STEM field, plus 18 months of relevant experience
• At least 18 months of demonstrated proficiency in AFSIM; experience in other mission-level combat modeling & simulation frameworks such as NGTS will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or other programming language
• Active Top-Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility

• Master of Science in Computer Science, Operations Research, or other STEM field, plus 3 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with model-based systems engineering tools such as CAMEO
• Basic proficiency in SysML

• Basic Compensation:
  The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
• Additional Compensation: K  may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation per internal policy or contractual designation. This may include sign-on bonuses, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
