Virtualization Administrator Security Clearance

Position: 4263 Virtualization Administrator with Security Clearance
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team and support our mission critical customer in Reston, VA. As our Systems Administrator you will: GENERAL DUTIES:
* Plan, design, and implement infrastructure changes and system upgrades.
* Manage and troubleshoot multiple VMware environments.
* Provide Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
* Create STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS.
* Create, test, and deploy software packages using software deployment products such as SCCM, PDQ, etc.
* Provide expert level support and mentoring for Mid and Junior System Administrator personnel.
* Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures for system and software changes.
* Utilize scripting to automate common tasks.
* Perform hardware maintenance/repair activities.
* Ensure proper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities.
* Provide advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience related to specific functional area
* Currently hold, or be able to attain a CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent IAT Level II
* Experience and knowledge on:
* Ability to write scripts using Power Shell and/or Bash.
* Experience managing VMware, Nutanix, and other types of enterprise level Virtual Infrastructures.
* Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory and Group Policy Object (GPO).
* Working collaboratively across cross-functional teams of all experience levels
* Monitoring and managing system resources, including CPU, storage, and other cloud resources to maintain operating efficiency performance.
* Performing systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
* Experience setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating resources for database and other application hosting. DESIRED

* Linux OS (CentOS, RHEL) administration.
* Satellite server administration.
* Ansible playbook writing.
* Implementing STIGs.
* Experience supporting a software configuration management and development environment. CLEARANCE:
