The Opportunity:

As a Dev Ops engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks-ultimately, how to "harness the cloud." We are seeking a highly skilled Dev Ops Engineer to design, build, and manage secure, mission-critical on-premises infrastructure platforms. In this role, you will utilize deep Kubernetes expertise, a strong Dev Ops background, proven leadership abilities, and extensive experience with government security standards and compliance frameworks.

As a Dev Ops infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you'll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You'll apply your skills within a Dev Ops framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks, and use cloud service provider s to further your clients' meaningful missions. * Experience in a Dev Ops or infrastructure engineering field

* Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration

* Experience deploying containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Open Shift

* Experience with scripting and automation, including Ansible

* Experience in on-premises data center infrastructure and networking

* Experience implementing and maintaining STIG compliance

* Experience with security scanning tools and vulnerability management

* Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks

* TS / SCI clearance

* HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have:
* Bachelor's degree

* Kubernetes Administrator Certification

* CISSP, Security+, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification

* RHCE or RHCSA Certification

* Linux and Infrastructure Engineering Certification

* CompTIA CASP+ Certification Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
