Khmer Linguist; Security Clearance

Position: Khmer Linguist (2025-0093) with Security Clearance

We are actively hiring a Khmer Linguist to join our team working in Reston, VA. You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with translation, transcription, and/or interpretation services. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Interpretation of primarily individual meetings but may include conference-type settings. Having simultaneous interpretation skills is a plus
* Translating from Khmer into English
* This position may require short-term domestic and foreign travel REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
* Bachelor's degree in education, foreign language, or technical field with relevant foreign language training experience desired
* Interpretation
* Translation into English
* Editing and Quality Control of language products
* Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise
* Writing reports
* Workflow management
* Triage
* Subject Matter Expertise in Science and Technology or Sponsor Operations PREFERRED SKILLS
* Interpretation skills for Khmer
* Transcription into English
* Terminology Management
* Translation Related Services (TRS)
* Writing Analysis
