We are actively hiring a Chinese Linguist to join our team working in Reston, VA. You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with translation, transcription, and/or interpretation services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Linguists will provide translations focusing mainly on topics in science and technology.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree is desired
- Translation into both English and Target Language
- Transcription from Source Language into English
- Quality Control and Editing of language products
- Terminology Management
- Triage
- Analysis and report writing
- Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise
- Subject Matter Expertise in areas of Counter proliferation, Counter terrorism, Cyber, Economics, Military, Science and Technology, or Politics/Leadership

- Interpretation between source and target language
