Position: Kurdish-Sorani Linguist with Security Clearance
Job Summary:

We are seeking qualified and mission-ready Kurdish-Sorani Linguists to support operations across CONUS, OCONUS, and warzone locations. This TDY position requires high linguistic proficiency, cultural understanding, and operational flexibility. The ideal candidate will provide translation and consecutive interpretation services between Arabic and English, often in high-stakes or time-sensitive environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform accurate translation of written documents from Arabic to English and vice versa.
Conduct consecutive interpretation in real-time settings, including one-on-one interactions and large group meetings.
Work on a wide range of subjects including technical, political, military, and cultural topics.
Understand and interpret a variety of dialects, jargon, and regional nuances in the Arabic language.
Maintain high-quality linguistic output under tight deadlines in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
Collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams and with diverse personnel in support of mission requirements.
Adhere to strict confidentiality and security protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is REQUIRED
Fluency in Kurdish-Sorani
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Proven ability in consecutive interpretation and written translation with attention to nuance and context.
Demonstrated experience or familiarity with military terminology and operational language.
Ability to operate effectively in deployed or austere environments, including potential warzones.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in team-oriented settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior deployment or TDY experience in OCONUS or conflict zones.
Experience supporting military or government operations.
Understanding of cultural sensitivities relevant to the Arabic-speaking world.
