Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa Reston seeks a candidate who is responsible, excellent in communication, and passionate about building a positive culture. Prior spa or membership‑driven sales experience is a plus. The GM is a critical link in ensuring a world‑class experience for members and guests.
Responsibilities- Provide an excellent customer experience through phone calls, appointments, greetings, membership sales and management.
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the spa.
- Drive spa sales performance.
- Recruit, hire, and develop spa professionals.
- Train, monitor, and coach team performance.
- Educate and sell memberships, including meeting sales goals and incentives.
- Promote products and services passionately.
- Communicate with the service provider team to maximize the appointment book.
- Identify opportunities for grassroots marketing and local community connections.
- Handle administrative duties: reporting, P&L analysis, payroll, cash handling, inventory and ordering.
- Proven passion for communicating with people.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to travel occasionally for training sessions, conferences or business meetings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A fast learner with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Computer proficiency; knowledge of retail/appointment booking systems is a plus.
- Strong team player capable of independent work under minimal supervision.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
- Critical thinking skills, including customer conflict resolution.
Compensation: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year.
