description job summary
the site assessment manager is responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating all activities associated with site assessment projects. This role ensures project objectives are met within established time frames, budget requirements, and quality standards. The manager provides daily leadership, oversees resource allocation, supports and serves as the primary point of contact for project staff, leadership, and clients.
primary job functions- coordinates all preparatory activities for deploying personnel onsite for assessments, including verifying security clearances, scheduling resources, and managing cross‑functional communication to ensure multiple work streams progress simultaneously.
- manages, plans, and coordinates all phases of site assessment projects to ensure goals and objectives are met within prescribed timelines.
- establishes detailed project work plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- meets with project staff to outline tasks, assign duties, define responsibilities, and set expectations regarding scope and authority.
- directs and coordinates the daily activities of project personnel to maintain alignment with project objectives.
- required: high school diploma or equivalent education
- required: 2 + years of experience in federal government working environment
- preferred: bachelor’s degree in related degree or equivalent education
- preferred: pmp certification
- strong knowledge of project management principles, scheduling, and resource coordination.
- strong problem‑solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
- excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- ability to interpret project plans, scopes of work, and technical documents.
