Crescent Hotels & Resorts is honored to announce an exciting opportunity for a talented Food & Beverage Supervisor for the grand opening of JW Marriott Reston Station Residences this Fall!

Join the opening team of the first JW Marriott in Virginia! Experience a new level of luxury at JW Marriott Reston Station, a 28-story landmark that overlooks Reston Row, a lively urban hub filled with top-notch dining and entertainment options. The hotel features 247 rooms across 12 floors, with 35,000 sq ft of luxury meeting space, including two ballrooms with 20-foot ceilings and abundant natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows and a large skylight.

The JW Residences occupy the remaining 16 floors. This architectural gem is conveniently located along the Silver Line Metro, providing access to the capital region and beyond.

What will you be doing?

  • Monitor servers and busperson adherence to all service standards.
  • Supervise service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in need of service.
  • Assist manager to establish and monitor sidework duty completion.
  • Maintain bank to Crescent standards.
  • Read daily communication sheets from the previous shift and prepare one for the following shift. Check floor plan for appropriate coverage.
  • Check restaurant for cleanliness and setup. Check service stands and aisle areas. Check tables for cleanliness and proper setup.
  • Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Communicate daily with restaurant manager regarding special events, house counts, etc.
  • Assist restaurant manager in conducting menu classes and taste panels.
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Ability to meet standards of appearance. Can communicate well with guests. Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co workers with their job duties and be a team player.
