This role is ideal for those who want a personalized work schedule. You will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliability and prompt attendance are necessary. Active engagement by picking up and working shifts once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours) is expected.

If you do not respond to our contact attempts or fail to work at least one shift within 5 months, employment may be terminated. The role requires scheduling flexibility and timely communication with leadership.

• Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and assist with available tools, products, and services.
• Be knowledgeable about store offerings, including fulfillment services, to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and communicate appreciation for their visit.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately, following food safety standards and company practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Inform guests about current/upcoming brand launches and store activities.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment; direct guests to enroll, activate, and use services such as Wallet and Target App features.
• Assist with returns following policy guidelines and escalate to leadership as needed.
• Support order pickup, drive-up, and registry guests with easy and accurate service.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services and cash office processes as needed, including management of cash systems.
• Perform all other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to communicate effectively and interact with guests to create an inclusive experience.
• Ability to problem-solve, adapt to various guest interactions, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to educate guests about products and services and to engage with them across multiple devices, including handheld scanners and the Target App.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Accurate cash handling and, when needed, support for cash office operations.
• Capability to lift and move merchandise up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
