This is a part time position. Primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by meeting each customer’s needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires a defined level of product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop.

• Preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Fresh Foods Standards.
• Providing customer service and cleaning work areas.
• Unloading stock and reloading salvage products according to Fresh Foods Standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to participate in required training.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence in English.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Minimum age 18 years.

• Pay Transparency:
  Harris Teeter expects to pay between $14.85/hour and $22.00/hour for this role as a newly hired associate. Pay may depend on previous experience and skill sets of the applicant.
