Digital Platform Territory Manager – Reston, VA

Location: US‑Virginia – Field based
Role expectations- Manage a sales territory overlaying with an established Invisalign Region, serving as a business partner to modernize and grow the iTero intraoral scanners install base, ultimately leading to the adoption of Invisalign clear aligners in Ortho practices
- Use insights and a consultative selling approach to challenge and encourage customers to adopt new digital processes and tools
- Plan and execute a territory plan, based on understanding the potential in each account and actively prospecting and pursuing new iTero opportunities in the assigned territory
- Hunt for new sales opportunities with current non‑customers to expand market penetration and drive adoption of iTero solutions
- Partner with other Align sellers, clinical support, and dental laboratories within the territory to maximize customer experience and ongoing promotion of Align solutions
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Experience can be outside B2B sales or industry experience selling a medical device, capital equipment, dental, orthodontic, or other relevant combination of sales and industry experience
- Knowledge of the dental industry including implants, restorative, and laboratories is preferred
- Business & Marketing knowledge:
Ability to have business discussions (Cash Flow Analysis, ROI, P&L) and ask the right business questions - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce preferred, and virtual communication platforms
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel in the assigned territory and occasionally outside for meetings and events
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, which includes lifting up to 40 lbs
Base salary ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. For field sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan.
