Sales Operations Specialist - Federal Objective:

This position manages the internal support of the sales team on the proactive side of Sales Operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide administration and operations support to Fortinet Federals Sales Team. The Specialist interacts with other departments within Fortinet Federal to ensure that the sales department needs are met, including Order Management, Distribution, Finance, Customer Support, etc.

Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain ongoing training for sales teams around SFDC, Sales Operations process updates, and sales execution. Work with sales team on accuracy of quotes, along with forecasting and analytics on sales processes. Regular interaction with Sales Leadership to help work through system issues and develop solutions to prevent them going forward.

Develop new hire training for sales teams.

Identify and analyze problems and resolve them within the scope of their ability and authority; involve supervisors, other team members, technical support staff or other Fortinet Federal departments as appropriate. Liaison between the sales teams and the rest of the organization.

Perform all job functions with a positive, professional attitude.

Build custom Salesforce reports/dashboards as needed.

Maintain and update Operations SharePoint.

Required Skills Required to be local to our corporate office in Reston, VA. (DC Metro Area ).5+ years in Sales Operations (Preferably in Federal Space)
Expert background with SFDC and CPQStrong computer skills with advanced skills in Excel Demonstrated ability and willingness to take initiative in dealing with and resolving problems. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks. Flexibility to adapt to constant change. Excellent communication and Interdepartmental skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain poise under stress and to respond quickly, logically, and patiently to questions or requests.

Self-starter demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment. Demonstrated customer service orientation with comprehension of how to solve problems and provide reassurance.
