We are seeking a reliable
Commercial Facilities Maintenance Technician
for a dynamic, mobile role. This is not a desk job—you will be the face of our company, traveling to various client sites within an assigned territory to perform preventive maintenance and urgent repairs. If you are a multi‑skilled tradesperson who takes pride in solving problems and delivering exceptional customer service, this role offers stability, variety, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and corrective repairs across a portfolio of commercial properties, utilizing skills in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC
    .

  • Build positive “face‑to‑face” relationships with clients, acting as the primary on‑site representative to address and resolve facility issues promptly.

  • Complete assigned work orders efficiently using a company‑provided tablet/smartphone, and perform routine service and asset inspections.

  • Leverage mobile business systems to document work, submit service reports, timesheets, and maintain clear communication with internal support teams.

  • Adhere strictly to all OSHA standards, company safety policies, and complete required training to ensure a safe work environment at all times.

Required

Qualifications & Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED
    (Technical certification or degree in a trade is a plus).

  • 2-5 years of hands‑on mechanical experience
    in facilities maintenance, construction, or a related field (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC).

  • Ability to perform a wide range of repairs, from unclogging drains and replacing fixtures to patching drywall and basic electrical work.

  • Must possess a clean, valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform tasks that involve standing, kneeling, and reaching.

  • Ability to interact professionally with clients, provide clear updates, and write basic reports.

  • Comfort using a smartphone/tablet and basic software for work order management.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

This is a physically active, field‑based role. You will work in various commercial settings, occasionally outdoors or in mechanical rooms, and must be able to handle typical physical demands of the trade, including lifting, climbing, and working with tools.
