We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer with strong experience in AWS, UI development, and data engineering.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering mindset, capable of reverse engineering existing code, implementing best practices, and contributing to both development and Dev Ops processes.
This role involves working with modern cloud technologies, serverless architecture, and containerization to build scalable and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and reverse engineer existing codebases to improve performance and maintainability.
- Develop full-stack applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JSP, and Angular.
- Work with AWS services including S3, Cloud Watch, Lambda, Step Functions, and RDS.
- Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using EMR, PySpark, Redshift, and Glue.
- Develop and maintain containerized applications using ECS with Fargate.
- Collaborate with business users to understand domain-specific requirements, especially in market risk modeling.
- Participate in CI/CD processes and contribute to Dev Ops practices using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform, UCD, or Cloud Formation.
- Write advanced SQL queries for data handling and transformation.
- Support testing automation and ensure code quality through best practices.
- Strong proficiency in Java and full-stack development.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Experience with UI technologies including JSP and Angular.
- Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, and working with databases such as Oracle, Postgre
SQL, and Aurora. - Experience in data engineering tools and frameworks (EMR, PySpark, Redshift, Glue).
- Familiarity with serverless architecture (Lambda, Step Functions).
- Experience with containerization using ECS and Fargate.
- Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Knowledge of SAS.
- Experience with Dev Ops tools and practices (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform/UCD/Cloud Formation).
- Exposure to testing automation frameworks.
- Understanding of market risk domain and modeling implementation.
