Senior Software Engineer

Join SES Space & Defense as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, where you will develop end-to-end satellite solutions in an Agile environment.

• Lead cloud-native development and architecture.
• Implement and enforce security standards and best practices.
• Design, develop, test, and document software components.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Write clear technical documentation and communicate designs.
• Contribute to API design, data integration, and AI/ML development.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and Scrum ceremonies.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and development practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Node.js, C#, Python, or similar languages.
• 5+ years of experience building database applications or data pipelines.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization.
• Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of relational & non-relational databases.
• Experience with authentication, networking, and software security.
• Experience with microservice architecture and deployment practices.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular) and front-end tooling.
• Experience with JavaScript testing tools (Mocha, Jasmine).
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
