Seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate APIs within its IBM Cloud environment using IBM API Connect and Data Power, Node.js/Python, and OpenAPI Specifications. This role will also play a key part in the organization’s cloud modernization strategy, supporting future migration initiatives to AWS Cloud with services such as API Gateway, Lambda Authorizer, and Terraform.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and integrate APIs within IBM Cloud using IBM API Connect and Data Power.
- Develop with Node.js and/or Python and define OpenAPI Specifications (OAS) for APIs.
- Contribute to cloud modernization efforts and support migration initiatives to AWS Cloud (API Gateway, Lambda Authorizer, Terraform).
- 8+ years of software engineering background.
- 3+ years of experience in developing and integrating APIs using Node.js or Python.
- Experience with OpenAPI Specifications (OAS or Swagger).
- Jenkins CI/CD pipeline experience.
- IBM Data Power and IBM API Connect experience.
