ABOUT THE TEAM Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community (IC) customers. We work within the IC to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set.

We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers' most pressing national security requirements. ABOUT THE JOB The Software Engineering team builds, deploys, integrates, extends, and scales Anduril's software to deliver mission-critical capabilities to our customers. As the software engineers closest to Anduril customers and end-users, Mission Software Engineers solve technical challenges of operational scenarios while owning the end-to-end delivery of winning capabilities such as Counter Intrusion, Joint All Domain Command & Control, and Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the team, you will lead solving a wide variety of problems involving systems integration and more, while making pragmatic engineering tradeoffs along the way. Your efforts will ensure that Anduril products seamlessly work together to achieve a variety of critical outcomes. Above all, Software Technical Lead are driven by a "Whatever It Takes" mindset-executing in an expedient , scalable , and pragmatic way while keeping the mission top-of-mind and making sound engineering decisions to deliver successful outcomes correctly, on-time, and with high quality WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Lead software development efforts of a small team
* Own the software solutions that are deployed to customers
* Write code to improve products and scale the mission capability to more customers
* Create and analyze metrics that are leveraged for debugging and monitoring
* Partner with end-users to turn needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints
* Mentor a team of SWEs and provide guidance on the scope, direction, and technical approach of their work
* Triage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate next-steps REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
* 5-10+ years of experience with C#, C/C++, Go, and other common Object-Oriented languages
* Experience developing and enhancing UI/UX components for optimized user interaction.
* Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis
* Capable of solving complex technical problems with little oversight
* Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
* A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact
* Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance US Salary Range $191,000 - $253,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
