Full Stack Developer Contingent

Insight Xcite is looking for a Full Stack Developer to support a government client in Northern Virginia. You ll build secure, scalable, and user-focused applications that directly support mission success. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who s as comfortable architecting backend services as they are building intuitive, responsive front-end interfaces.

Contingent Upon Award: This position is contingent upon contract award and/or funding approval. Candidates selected may be contacted for pre-screening and qualification prior to award.

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and database integrations.
• Develop responsive, accessible front-end interfaces that meet mission requirements.
• Write secure, efficient, and testable code across the full SDLC.
• Participate in agile sprints, stand-ups, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Provide documentation and engineering support across all project phases.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) — non-negotiable. Candidates without this clearance will not be considered.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a full stack developer.
• Proficiency with Java Script and at least one major front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue).
• Strong experience with Python, Node.js, or Java for backend development.
• Familiarity with relational and/or No
  
  SQL databases (Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and secure application development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor s degree and 6 years of relevant experience (or Master s with 4, Associate s with
  8).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Dev Ops tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git Lab CI).
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
• Prior government or consulting experience.
