Accounts Senior – Retford – Up to £32,000

Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a growing modern accountancy practice, who are now looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join a successful accountancy business with a modern approach, a fantastic working environment, and a strong culture. You will support various accounting aspects for a range of clients and assist in mentoring and managing the team/workload.

• Overseeing and finalising accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies
• Mentoring team members and conducting staff appraisals
• Reviewing and improving current processes
• Managing workload allocation through the practice management system
• Managing internal audits for a small client portfolio
• Reviewing tax returns
• Carrying out VAT returns

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Ability to lead and organise team workload
• Personable and enthusiastic with good communication skills
• Detail-oriented and analytical, capable of reviewing data and identifying errors
• IT literate
