Position: Semi-Senior / Senior Accountant
A well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice is looking to recruit a Semi-Senior / Senior Accountant to join its friendly team based close to Retford, Worksop, Gainsborough, Bawtry and Doncaster. Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work with a varied portfolio of clients, supporting the delivery of high-quality accounting and taxation services. Responsibilities will be tailored to your level of experience but may include:

Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

• Preparing corporation tax computations and business tax returns

• Completing bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts where required

• Managing your own portfolio of clients or supporting senior colleagues with client work

• Reviewing accounts and tax work completed by junior team members, depending on experience

• Assisting with audit assignments where required

• Advising clients on accounting software and responding to day-to-day accounting queries

• Working closely with Managers to ensure client deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard
