Pay: £100 - £130 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during short-term teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task and follow pre-set work. This role is ideal for graduates or individuals with experience working with young people who are considering a future career in education.

You will not be required to plan or mark work, making this an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 during teacher absence

* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials

* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

* Support pupils to stay engaged and focused

* Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

Candidate Requirements

✔ A degree (essential)
✔ Experience working with young people (desirable)
✔ Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
✔ Confident, flexible, and reliable approach
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
