K Education are currently recruiting for a Teacher of English to join a secondary school on a long-term supply basis, starting after the February half term.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed English teacher looking for a stable, long-term role.

The Role

Teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
Assessing, marking, and tracking student progress in line with school policies
Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
Contributing to departmental planning and meetings where required
Upholding the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent A degree in English or a related subject
Recent experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
Strong classroom management skills
A passion for English and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
