Early Years Teacher - Retford
Are you a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher looking for flexible work in Retford? Academics are working with a variety of supportive Early Years settings and primary schools seeking passionate practitioners to support children during this vital stage of development.

Early Years Teacher / EYFS Supply Teacher
Location:
Retford, Nottinghamshire
Contract:
Temporary, ongoing flexible supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)

As an Early Years Teacher, you will deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework, supporting children aged 3-5 in Nursery or Reception settings in Retford. You will help develop early communication, confidence and independence within a safe and nurturing environment.
To work within Nursery or Preschool settings, Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) is typically required.
To teach Reception within a primary school, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver creative, play-based EYFS learning activities
- Support children's social, emotional and language development
- Observe, assess and record progress using EYFS frameworks
- Create inclusive, safe and stimulating learning environments
- Work collaboratively with Early Years staff and parents
- Maintain safeguarding and welfare standards
- EYTS or QTS (Early Years specialism desirable)
- Recent experience within EYFS (Nursery or Reception)
- Strong understanding of child development and EYFS curriculum
- Warm, patient and nurturing approach
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
