Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a Year 5 and Year 6 Supply Teacher to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Retford.
This Year 5 & Year 6 Supply Teacher opportunity offers the chance to teach within Upper Key Stage 2, supporting pupils through an important stage of their primary education as they prepare for SATs and the transition to secondary school. Contract:

Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay:  £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

As a Year 5 and Year 6 Supply Teacher in Retford, you will deliver engaging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their full potential while creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons across Year 5 and Year 6
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
Prepare pupils for SATs where appropriate
Promote positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing
Assess and monitor pupil progress
Work collaboratively with school staff
Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Upper Key Stage 2
Confident classroom management skills
Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
