As a Care Assistant at Farthings, you will provide person centred care and support our residents to maintain their independence, this will include supporting with personal care, at mealtimes and during activities as well as offering emotional support.

Previous experience caring for the elderly would be advantageous, ideally you would have a minimum NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care and Care Certificate or be willing to work towards. However, full training will be given.

Successful candidates are required to have an enhanced DBS and sign up to the update service.

We have a 22-hour permanent post available ) available with an immediate start.

Shifts are pre-planned on the rota and additional shifts can be picked up as and when you choose through our electronic staff rostering app. The hours available will be shift work  or  or  or  or  or ) including weekends and bank holidays. We pay overtime rates for all bank holidays and provide a workplace pension.
