As a School Cleaner in Retford, you will work across a variety of educational settings on an ad‑hoc basis, supporting schools when additional cleaning cover is required.

The School Cleaner role in Retford typically involves early morning shifts, helping to ensure classrooms, corridors and communal areas are clean and ready for pupils and staff each day.

• 5:30am - 7:30am
• 6:00am - 8:00am

• Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Use cleaning products safely and effectively
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout school buildings
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns when required

• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Health & Safety training
• COSHH training or awareness of COSHH procedures
• Understanding of safe cleaning practices
• Ability to travel across Retford when required
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach
