Project Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager, Operations Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager (M&E) to join a leading engineering organisation based in Retford. This is an exciting opportunity to manage bespoke projects and installations across the UK, combining office-based and hybrid working.

The Role:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality projects, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a professional standard. You will also be expected to travel to sites and client meetings across the UK, with occasional international travel in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver projects efficiently, ensuring operational and budgetary targets are met
Create detailed project plans and manage progress to achieve milestones
Lead and motivate project teams, promoting continuous improvement
Identify and manage risks, ensuring Health & Safety compliance
Produce accurate forecasts, reports, and manage project cash flow

Skills & Experience:

Strong leadership and confident communication skills
Ability to manage conflicts and maintain professional relationships under pressure
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
Commercial awareness and decision-making capability
Experience in M&E project management with multiple stakeholders
Contract management experience (NEC)
5+ years' relevant experience desirable
Flexibility to travel across the UK (full UK driving licence required)
Interest or background in engineering/mechanical fields

Relevant project management or engineering qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2) are desirable
