Agricultural Operator
Salary: £30,000 - Benefits - Overtime - Training
DAY SHIFT
My client, an agricultural company with a heavy focus on sustainability and renewable energy, are looking for an operative to join their team.
Responsibilities- Operating and monitoring plant systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production.
- Carrying out routine inspections, start-ups, shutdowns, and plant changeovers in line with operating procedures.
- Responding effectively to plant faults, alarms, and abnormal operating conditions to minimise downtime.
- Assisting with planned outages, maintenance activities, and contractor supervision as required.
- Maintaining accurate operational logs, shift reports, and handovers.
- Experience with in Agricultural Machinery /biogas / anaerobic digestion / water treatment plants
- Experience operating farm machinery - tractors, telehandlers etc
- Ability to conduct machinery inspections and schedule maintenance
- Computer literate
