  • Manage, train, and schedule a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and high performance to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Maintain and protect the hotel’s physical assets—building structures, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems—and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to extend equipment life.
  • Ensure full compliance with all local, state, federal regulations, including fire codes, building codes, and OSHA standards; conduct regular safety inspections and drills.
  • Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, monitor expenses, control utility consumption, and identify opportunities for cost savings and improved energy efficiency. Solicit and review bids for all capital projects and major repairs.
  • Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to minimize guest disruption and enhance the overall experience.
  • Supervise and coordinate outside contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to hotel standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3–5 years progressive experience in hotel or building maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role; select‑service or limited‑service hotel experience highly preferred.
