Respiratory Therapist (FT)
Madisonhealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team.
He/she is involved in acute, critical and/or life‑threatening patient care areas and situations. Standard practice requires him/her to proceed alone in administering emergency, life‑sustaining procedures until such time as judgment and decision making responsibilities may be assumed by a physician.
Role OverviewThe Respiratory Care Practitioner possesses sufficient training and experience to perform independent professional respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical evaluation of care including the establishment of therapeutic objectives and the review of care based on the age and needs of the patient. The final and ultimate authority, judgment, and clinical decision making are the responsibility of a physician.
Compensation & Benefits- Retention Bonus: $2,500 upon start, $2,500 at the end of 1st year

- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, within 3 months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, on date of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) Certification, within 3 months of hire
- Post‑graduate clinical experience in all aspects of respiratory care, including extensive critical care background
- Proficient demonstration of ventilator care and management
- Clinical evaluation and assessment skills for all age groups (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric)
- Strong communication skills

- Obtain credential of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within one year of employment
