Diagnostic Services - Radiology Technologist (RPT)

Under the direction of a Radiologist, supervises students and performs duties directly involved with a variety of special technical procedures performed within the radiology department. Using proper safety guidelines, the technologist will use x‑ray to obtain high quality images for diagnostic purposes. The Technologist will present them to the Radiologist for interpretation by utilizing the PACS.

• Prioritizes patient safety and quality as a radiologic technologist.
• Pay rate reflects higher modality certification regardless of department assignment.
• Lives the Radiology Mission Statement in all interactions.
• Regular Part‑Time schedule (24–36 hours per week) with Sunday‑Saturday swing shifts, some holidays, surgery, hospital and clinic shifts.
• 10–12 hour shifts.

• Proficient with PACS, RIS, CR, and DR systems.
• Healthcare provider CPR certification.

• Competent in routine diagnostic procedures: routine, fluoroscopic, OR, trauma, portable radiographs or fluoroscopy.

• ARRT registered (required).
• Completion of an approved Radiology Technologist program (required).
