Pay Range: $21.93-$33.36 DOE +$2 Differential for Night Shift

• Accountable for the timely installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex plant equipment and facilities that are instrumental in the efficient functioning of automated production lines and a manufacturing facility operating on a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week operation.
• The incumbent is assigned jobs by the supervisor and is expected to complete most jobs, including those of a complex nature, with little to no supervision.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, dryers, mixers, and packaging machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and equipment malfunctions in a timely and safe manner.
• Fabricate, weld, or modify parts and components as needed.
• Assist with equipment installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance according to established schedules.
• Maintain detailed maintenance and repair logs in ERP/CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System).
• Work collaboratively with electricians, operators, and supervisors to support production goals.
• Ensure compliance with all codes, safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and food safety standards.
• Understand the basics of electricity. Wire 3 phase motors and basic troubleshooting.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and drive systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and ability to assist with minor electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Must own all basic tools to be used on the job. (Specialty tools will be provided).

• Welding and fabrication experience (TIG/MIG/Stick).

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.

• Preferred 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.

• Physically able to lift 50 LBS, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or elevated areas as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as production demands require.

Proactively manage safety by ensuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations and internal Company policies. Regularly complete behavior‑based safety observations. Ensure unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner. All employees are responsible for upholding the principles of SQF 2000. All employees are responsible for immediately reporting any food safety, food quality, or plant security issues to management for appropriate action.
