Mother Baby Unit - RN (FT)

Madisonhealth is seeking to hire a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in the Postpartum setting, assess and plan individualized patient care, and communicate effectively with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general nursing duties in the department.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Communicate professionally with physicians and patient families from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), current.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) within 6 months of hire.
• Breastfeeding Basics Nurses Course (BBNC) within 1 year of hire.
• STABLE certification within 1 year of hire.
• Cerner experience, preferred.

• Ability to work as a team and independently.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, MS Publisher or equivalent, PowerPoint).

Schedule and Classification:

• Full Time Nights.
• Schedule varies (to be discussed in interview).
