Mid Level Automotive Technician - Reynoldsburg, OH at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company
As a Mid-Level Automotive Technician, you will gain hands‑on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by utilizing a mechanical aptitude to diagnose technical issues while delivering outstanding service.
Shift InformationOperating hours may vary by location and can include weekends and certain holidays. The store may be open 7 days a week.

- Perform line technician services, routine inspections and maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem‑solving.
- Repair brakes, perform fluid exchanges/flushes, conduct preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
- Provide clear communication about guest vehicles and give feedback.
- Document all work performed on repair orders.
- Report safety issues immediately to management.
- Promote teamwork to deliver accurate guest care during all operating hours.
- Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
- Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting.
- Minimum 1 year of automotive experience, including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and age 18 or older.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
- Commitment to learning new technologies in the rapidly changing automotive industry.
- Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information; identify problems and make decisions.
- Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
- Experience with electrical systems, air conditioning, and advanced fuel ignition.
