• Programming and operating industrial equipment such as a laser machine, press brake, structural steel rolling machine, CNC milling machine, etc., following company procedures and blueprints.
• Setting up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
• Maintaining and cleaning machines before and after each shift.
• Monitoring machines during every procedure to ensure optimum operation.
• Troubleshooting problems during machine operation.
• Ensuring stocks/inventory of needed materials are ready and available at all times.
• Providing relevant information regarding progress to supervisors.
• Following all plant safety guidelines, practices and procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Using personal protective equipment when required.
• Notifying supervisors of problems that may occur with equipment or part quality.
• Performing activities such as cutting, sawing, drilling, tapping, grinding, prepping kits and lay‑outs to meet customer specifications.
• Maintaining regular attendance and having reliable transportation.
• Performing other tasks as assigned.

• Prior manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Advanced blueprint reading knowledge and ability to follow work order instructions.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D desirable.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred (in‑house training available).
• Ability to pass a background check and pre‑employment drug test.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work with others assigned to the machine.
• High sense of urgency to meet and exceed all production goals.
• Attention to detail, watching for material defects and quality issues.
• Adaptability to changing demands.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, reach and twist throughout the shift.
• Capacity to repetitively lift 25‑50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed, which may include weekends/holidays.

• Typical manufacturing environment with overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Bright workspace with overhead LED lighting.
• Clean environment with occasional grinding dust, heat/cold, fumes/odors, and vibration; housekeeping performed as needed.
• Typical manufacturing noise level with air tools, grinders, and other tools.
• Non‑climate‑controlled facility in summer (fans provided) and heated in winter.

High School Diploma or equivalent. 1‑3 years’ experience operating and programming machines in a manufacturing environment.
