Position SummaryThe Digital Print Production Operator will communicate regularly with the Graphic Production Manager regarding job status and quality concerns. The operator will be responsible for day‑to‑day equipment operation, printing, file ripping, and production of banners, signs, murals, vehicle graphics, and POP display graphics. Duties include preflight and quality check of artwork files, organizing production runs, maintaining accurate quantity counts and quality audits, performing operator‑level preventative maintenance, and coordinating service calls.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of digital print production experience and knowledge of wide‑format finishing equipment (e.g., Zund file set‑up and cutting) and RIP software (Onyx or Caldera).
- Operate color and black & white large‑format printers.
- Preflight and quality‑check artwork files before production.
- Communicate quality issues with Graphic Production Manager.
- Organize production runs and maintain accurate quantity counts.
- Perform print quality control, color profiling, and troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Conduct operator‑level preventative maintenance per schedule, log information, and coordinate service calls.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks) in compliance with safety standards.
- Use wide‑format finishing equipment such as Zund file set‑up and cutting.
- Work with RIP software including Onyx and/or Caldera.

Position Qualifications- High School Graduate or GED (required).
- Associate’s Degree or two‑year college / technical school (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience running production for color & black/white print products.
Onyx Software, Caldera RIP Software.
Other Requirements- Solid working knowledge of large‑format printing & finishing processes, industry terminology, and materials.
- Knowledge of wide‑format finishing equipment (Zund file set‑up and cutting).
