CompensationPay Range: $34.00 to $51.00 per hour

Your RoleAs a Sr./Controls Technician, you’ll provide technical expertise and leadership for all material handling automation systems in our distribution centers. You’ll troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, lead projects, and mentor team members while ensuring optimal system performance.
Responsibilities- Lead projects to implement or modify DC material handling automation systems
- Provide technical support for automation software and PLC‑based systems
- Troubleshoot controls issues, system communication failures, and PLC host integration
- Maintain and administer software on existing automation systems
- Develop and execute test plans for new or modified software applications
- Ensure system uptime during critical business periods
- Manage vendors on scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and end users to identify and resolve issues
- 3+ years’ experience with material handling and storage systems
- Strong skills in electrical/controls troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Experience with advanced material handling (high‑speed sortation, AS/RS, conveyors)
- Knowledge of PLC platforms (Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Step 7)
- Familiarity with SCADA/visualization tools (Ignition preferred)
- Experience with WMS/WCS applications and troubleshooting motors, drives, and starters
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
