The OpportunityLocated in Columbus, OH, this Brand Manager – Pediatric Marketing in our Nutrition Division will focus on shopper and CBEC strategy, integrate shopper marketing into retailer strategies, and lead all shopper creative and joint business planning for Abbott Nutrition brands. The role will manage shopper and CBEC budgets, execute sampling, display initiatives, demand strategies and communication plans, and analyze promotional effectiveness metrics.
WhatYou’ll Work On
- Serve as the liaison with Shopper Marketing lead for creative development and shopper communication strategies.
- Collaborate with Global Team on CBEC strategy and execution leveraging brand strategies and communication standards.
- Integrate shopper and brand agencies at briefing for shopper campaign messaging and activation.
- Act as the go‑to person for all shopper marketing requests.
- Work with Field Shopper Marketing Managers to align brand strategies and identify key business opportunities.
- Ensure plans are integrated into annual brand planning and retail joint business planning.
- Track competitive marketing activity and provide strategic recommendations.
- Analyze effectiveness and ROI of all executions and recommend continuous improvement.
- Identify new market opportunities and optimize communications to drive incremental sales.
- Partner with Brand Péní owner to prepare annual brand plans.
- Manage shopper and CBEC budget monthly with direct input to forecast models and financial decisions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives.
- 3‑5 years of brand management, shopper marketing or general marketing experience; healthcare or food and beverage industry preferred.
- 3+ years of demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional teams; global experience a plus.
- Experience in shopper marketing and/or using shopper data and insights.
- Knowledge of brand management, sales and retail marketing.
- Experience working with third‑party vendors and creative agencies.
- Strong presentation, influence and strategic recommendation skills.
- Analytical skills, attention to detail and budget ownership.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Strong organization and an ability to respond to changing customer needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
Base pay: $97,300.00 – $ (range may vary by location).
