We are seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional team. The role involves executing routine maintenance tasks to uphold safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart stores, equipment, and fixtures under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities include inspections, cleaning, repairs, and responding to emergency maintenance calls.

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move on ladders
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to sit, stand, or work in various temperatures for long periods
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade

• Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets using plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment skills and hand/power tools
• Use the work order management system to receive and document repair activities
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities to diagnose issues
• Complete all required safety training for equipment and tools

Individual compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, experience, and job offer level. Additional bonuses may be disclosed during the interview process.

• Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
• Valid driver’s license

• Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical trade program
• License in the related trade within the city or state of the job location
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software
