Position Description

Immediate opening for a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Yard Truck Driver at Ryder in Reynoldsburg, OH. Apply now.

• $1600+ per week (Hourly $27.00 / hour, 50+ hours per week)
• Schedule:
  
  Monday - Friday
• Dispatch:
  Varies

• Deliver SOLOTo:
  
  Yard Jockey and Offsite Fueling – local home daily
• Tractor Type:
  Yard Tractor;
  Trailer:
  Dry Van 48', 53’
• Yard experience a must
• Loading / unloading freight as required

Some positions require additional screening (verification of employment, education, motor vehicle records, background; road test; customer‑specific requirements).

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations and safety standards
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Assist in loading/unloading freight if required
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum age 21 years
• Pass Ryder drug test and background check (including prior employment drug/alcohol verification for last 3 years)
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A verifiable experience in tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within past 3 years, OR
• 2 years within last 5 years, OR
• 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations
