Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Accounting Consultant to manage month-end, account balancing, reconciliations, invoice vouchering, and journal entries. You’ll work closely with a small accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and process efficiency.

Compensation: Up to $65/hr

Project Duration: 4-6+ weeks

Location: Rhinelander, WI (Hybrid schedule available)

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Flexible start times: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM)

Dress Code: Casual

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile 4 different accounts and monitor open job orders.
• Analyze prepaid inventory and balance accounts.
• Voucher invoices and enter journal entries.
• Communicate with senior accounting team on internal issues.
• Conduct month-end close processes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Manufacturing industry experience.
• Strong experience in account reconciliation, month-end close, and journal entries.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
