Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Caregiver/Mentor to provide supportive care and guidance to 1 or 2 young individuals in their home and within the community. The role involves providing a safe, nurturing environment and partaking in activities such as walks, board games, cards, park visits (weather permitting), puzzles, cooking or baking, community or school events, life‑skills work, homework help, and social‑skills development.

• Provide direct support and supervision to youth, ensuring their safety and well‑being at all times.
• Support clients during activities that promote social interaction, learning, and personal growth.
• Maintain a safe play environment and observe children’s play activities.
• Communicate with children’s parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues.
• Support children’s emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self‑concepts.
• Organize and participate in recreational activities and outings, such as games and field trips.
• Help children with homework and school work.
• Accompany children to and from school, on outings, and to medical appointments.
