• Program and optimise the mill's process instrumentation and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
• Improve reliability of mill systems and support maintenance and operation teams.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing data collection and process issues, providing solutions.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain production instrumentation and controls; lead change requests for system extensions.
• Manage DCS optimisation for efficiency and productivity.
• Assist operational leaders and vendors for procurement and service arrangement.
• Attend meetings, produce logs, plan activities, and coordinate projects.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Paper science, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2‑5 years experience as Process Control Engineer in an industrial setting.
• Experience in reliability improvement and continuous improvement tools.
• Familiarity with pulp and paper mills preferred.
• Knowledge of DCS/QCS and data historian systems like Proficy preferred.
• Full‑time U.S. work authorization required.
• Ability to work regular hours and additional shifts (weekends/holidays) as needed.
• Capacity to perform typical production tasks – prolonged standing, walking, lifting (≤50 lb). Required PPE.
• Strong written and verbal communication plus team‑work skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
